Three Russian Companies make it into the Top 10 Energy Companies based on their performance in 201115 Russian companies were included in the rating of the world’s 250 largest energy companies in 2011, compiled by Platts. And three Russian companies made it into the top 10 of the rating. This is a clear indication that Russian energy companies are fast gaining prominence in the global market. Gazprom is in third place after the US based Exxon Mobil and Chevron. Rosneft and Lukoil are in ninth and tenth places respectively. In addition, the 100 most successful energy companies of the world also include TNK-BP Holding (20th place), Gazprom Oil (29th place), Surgutneft (35th place), Transneft (41st), Tatneft (54th), Bashneft (62nd) and FSK UES (93rd). |
