October meetings of Nexia International

In early October the sunny Barcelona traditionally hosted network Senior Managers training. This time the topic under discussion was HR management and development of negotiating skills. ICLC was represented by Senior Auditor Julia Ilina. In Julia’s opinion all the issues discussed during the conference were of much practical interest to all those present.

Simultaneously, Antwerp, Belgium, hosted an EMEA tax conference on anti-avoidance, cross border transactions and CFC issues. ICLC’s Senior Legal Adviser Yekaterina Ryzhova did a presentation on New Russian Transfer Pricing Rules. On the whole 60 delegates from a variety of countries in the region took part in the conference.

Both ICLC representatives noted that participation in the network events has helped them in furthering their professional development as well establishing and strengthening contacts with colleagues from other countries.
